Oklahoma City, Day 1: We made it, but no room in the inn

Hello all,
Welcome to the first in a series of installments about the Big 12 men's and women's basketball tournament in Oklahoma City, OK. The first of (hopefully) many games starts at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday with the ISU women facing off against Kansas State. Exciting? Yes. But it was exhausting to get here, and now there's no sure sign we'll know where to stay.
Well, the nine hour drive was rough, but fellow photographer Ross LaDue and I made it in fine fashion. Unfortunately, the hotel where we booked our rooms at, coincidentally the media hotel, gave away our rooms by accident. That's OK, they found us another hotel to stay at --- except they only have one room for one night.
Problem? Eh? I guess it'll buff out. Maybe I'll be reporting from the lobby of a hotel tomorrow night, though. That is, if there's room to hold me there.

Plenty of things to look forward to this week, and I hope you keep checking back. This blog will have up-to-the-half updates, and the occasional quarky comment, from every ISU Big 12 basketball game. Keep checking back, leave me some feedback, and tell me what to do better.
