End of game

Ouch. Still, a fine effort put forth, going cold midway through the second half killed the Cyclones though.

50.0 Medders layup, then ISU fouls. They still only have five team fouls, so they have to foul twice more.

46.5 Iow State fouls Plumley, crowd doesn't like it.
Jenna Plumley to shoot two first one up and down. Second one up and down. Oklahoma buy eight, 63-55.

36.4 Lacey hits a three, 63-58 Sooners. Cyclones foul immediately. Rush to shoot a one-and-one. First one up and missed.

25.7 Ezell misses a shot from WAY downtown, and OU to shoot more free throws. First one up and missed. ANOTHER chance for ISU.

17 seconds. Lacey has the ball stolen from the best free throw shooter on the team. OU shooting two. First one up and down. Second one up and down. OU up 65-58.

10.2 Medders with Iowa State's last bucket of the game...65-60 Sooners. Paris to the line for two. First one up and down. Second one up and down. 66-60 Sooners.

A very touching moment....Medders and Ronhovde come off the court in tears ... Iowa State fans give them a rousing ovation, thanks to encouragement from coach Bill Fennelly.

FINAL SCORE OKLAHOMA 67, IOWA STATE 60.

Stay tuned for postgame thoughts. But let me tell you something. There is NOTHING to be ashamed of. The Cyclones fought hard throughout the whole Tourney, and while Sherri Coale cuts down the nets, the Cyclones are watching, crying and waiting it out.

It's on to the NCAA Tourney for the Cyclones, who gave the Sooners their toughest challenge of the tourney.

Lyndsey Medders named to the All-Tournament team.
Courtney Paris named MVP. No surprise there.

So this is it, for now. Stay tuned. Be back later.
