Brent Blum's halftime thoughts

Hey all, remember me. Good to talk to you again...it's been awhile.

The Cyclones couldn't have played much worse in the first half and OU not much better. Yet, ISU only trails by 12. Which is actually quite remarkable. It's sort of like waking up at six in the morning on two hours of sleep after pounding shot after shot of tequila and jaeger-bombs and saying to yourself, "Well that could have been much worse." Not that I have any experience witht that.

The good guys need to wake up Jiri and tell him the game has begun. Might as well tell my main man Wesley Johnson that as well.

OU is controlling the tempo and finding open shooters as Iowa State is sitting in a zone. They won't continue to make this many 3's.

This thing is not over yet. The Cyclones need Mike Taylor to go nutty in the 2nd half to have a shot though. If they don't score 40 in the 2nd...they are done for the year.
